The Philiphaugh Community centre in Selkirk is set for a major refurbishment.
Scottish Borders Council is finalising plans for a £350,000 makeover of their Community Centre at Philiphaugh.
As well as replacement windows and doors, the centre will be internally reconfigured with a new kitchen being created as well as a baby-changing room.
And new flooring and furnishings will finish off the works.
The building, officially opened in 1985, which is connected to Philiphaugh Community School, will also be externally re-decorated.
A spokesman said “This is coming into fruition with a refurbishment programme to create modern facilities for all users, funded through education capital block funding.”
