The Waterwheel Café

Description

Enjoy fabulous home baking at the Waterwheel Restaurant which is open 7 days per week from 10am – 4pm

Next door is the Philiphaugh Salmon Viewing Centre. Here you can learn about the life cycle of the Salmon, and during the months of May & June or September to November when the river is high, see salmon leaping up the Cauld.

Nearby, our fully restored walled garden grows a wide variety of produce that can be tasted at the Waterwheel Café or bought fresh from the soil to take home. We usually have a good selection of flowering and house plants and we have several glass houses which you will find brimming with tomatoes, grapes, courgettes, cucumbers and figs through the summer and house plants during the winter months.

Learn more about the Battle of Philiphaugh and enjoy the many walks around the Estate Paths.
