Burnside gallery & frames

Burnside Gallery & frames is run by Charly Murray, an artist and graphic designer from the Borders and Javier Ternero, a photographer and picture framer from Seville in Spain. Their gallery is on the corner of the Market Place, just around the corner from the free car park. It shows well made and reasonably priced art and has a series of exhibitions throughout the year. They have plenty of local and unusual cards, boxes and art materials from Europe.

They offer a framing service: traditional handmade wooden frames made out of oak, ash, beech and walnut, amongst other woods.

They say: ‘We were lucky to find a gallery in Selkirk; we’ve been welcomed and the town is right in the heart of the Borders, lots of things to do and lots of beautiful countryside’.
