Turnbull’s Shoe Repairs

A well ken face, Colin’s services are traditional shoe repairs, key cutting, engraving and leather work. He is also an agent for Colin’s Watches.  The quality of all his work means that one machine or another is always on the go and folk have been known to travel far and wide just to get his superb service and friendly welcome.

Colin Turnbull started his apprenticeship at Souter Ronnies 20 years or so ago and learnt the trade of shoe making and shoe repairs which had been passed down from three generations.  In 2007, Colin bought the business and we’re all pleased he did, as Colin keeps the history alive by being our only Souter in Selkirk!

Shoe repairs, leather work, watches, engraving, as well as a number of goods for sale, but it’s just worth popping in to see the master at work as he himself says “All of my work is carried out by hand the good old-fashioned way.”
