Many of our shops embrace sustainability from Turnbull’s Shoe Repairs, to the Ideal Hardware and Home Essentials and the repair workshop based at The General Store.

Despite being a small town, we still have all the essentials: a medical centre, NHS dentist surgery, two pharmacies, a vet surgery and a Food Bank. Complementary services include a natural health provider and a podiatrist.

Bank & Post Office
The Royal Bank of Scotland mobile bank bus visits the main car park on Mondays, 11:45am-12:15pm for RBS customers only. For other bank customers, cash can be withdrawn at the Post Office on the Market Place or at the Co-Op’s ATM at the eastern end of the High Street.
