In 2017 Lochcarron of Scotland were approached by the Selkirk Committee for Cancer Research UK to discuss a special collaboration that would help to fund further research into Cancer.
Locharron were very proud to be part of the collaboration producing a beautiful scarf that has sold out on more than one occasion.
With World Cancer Day coming up on February 4th the committee are hoping their new product will be a welcome addition to their range of tartan products.
Launched just before Christmas the Cancer Research Tartan Buffs have already proved a popular item of clothing for all ages.
Secretary Mary Smail added “We are always looking at new ways to make people aware of our charity and the tartan has proved popular to not only the people of Selkirk but all around the world “
The eye catching tartan buffs are available at Liberty Star Trading, Why Not in Galashiels and Soutra Cafe at Pathhead, and will also be on offer along with the complete range at the Farmers Market in Selkirk on February 1st.
