IDEOMS are doing the rounds again with their unique take on Burns and tickets are going fast.
IT would not be January without a series of Burns themed events right around the region and one group of talented Borderers celebrate the life and work of the famous writer in their own unique way.
Ideoms Theatre Company each year prepare for their annual tour around Burns Night.
John Nichol, one of the performers added “Ideoms bring you their whimsical but authentic take on the works of Robert Burns. It is an evening of fun with a costumed show followed by a Burns supper – full of songs and poems – but no speeches.”
Along with Hilary Bell, Jenni Borthwick and Lucy Cowan this refreshingly unconventional tour started on Saturday and continues this Sunday at The County Hotel in Selkirk before heading to the Gordon Arms on the 2nd February and The Haining on the 9th February.
Quirky, hilarious and authentic, tickets can be purchased from Scott’s Selkirk shop or via email ideoms@vivross.co.uk or by phone 07802 349989.
